Une entreprise fondée en 2005

Ivar A. Ullebust a fondé Viking of Norway le 19 octobre 2005, après une expérience dans l’industrie textile norvégienne. L’entreprise est à Oltedal, dans un environnement administratif lié à l’histoire lainière locale.

Le parcours antérieur du fondateur ne doit pas être confondu avec l’âge de la marque, fondée en 2005. De même, les matières des vêtements finis ne déterminent pas la composition de chaque fil Viking Garn.

Alpaca Storm et ses variantes plus fines

Alpaca Storm associe 40 % d’alpaga superfine, 40 % de laine mérinos et 20 % de nylon. Alpaca Liten Storm utilise ce mélange dans un fil plus fin, avec métrage et échantillon différents. Liten désigne donc une différence pratique, pas un simple changement de nom ou de couleur.

La fiche officielle indique une production d’Alpaca Liten Storm au Pérou. Le nom d’une entreprise norvégienne ne constitue donc pas une déclaration de fabrication pour toute la collection. Siège, origine des fibres et production sont distincts.

Les modèles Viking peuvent associer des fils. Un pull en Alpaca Storm et Kid Silk demande d’évaluer les deux ensemble pour les remplacer. L’échantillon du fil principal seul ne reproduit pas la surface ni l’épaisseur de l’association.

Utilisez le nom complet et les instructions réelles du modèle. Comparez composition, métrage total et échantillon lavé. Les noms proches facilitent une recherche, sans rendre les fils interchangeables.
