From a basement shop to Odense
Lotte started the business in 2016 with a small assortment in a basement, initially opening one day a week alongside her work as an educator. She later established a shop in a townhouse on the square in Tønder, before moving to premises on the pedestrian street.
In 2024, she closed the physical shop and moved to Odense. GarnbyJacobsen now operates as a webshop from there. Its background remains closely connected to one knitter's experience of choosing materials and seeing customers' finished work.
